2004-08-11 Imperial Guard Heavy Sentinel
To increase the overall affect of the Sentinel and to see what it looks like I have added the cargo area to the model. I do not know if I intend to do this again.
The first adjustment to the additional cargo area is I had to trim the back overhang it forced the back stair like they over hung the sentinel and were not a part of it.
Next came the side armor. Some adjustment was necessary to compensate for the additional storage area. I have filed down the armor and fitted it to the angle of the back part of the dread.
After thought I have ordered more of the blank Devestator armor I have had to file off the Eagle and work with the others. The armor with the cargo roll on the top will have to be replaced as it does not really fit anywhere.
The cockpit is really coming together. I have some minor clean up to do but that can wait until I finish the mount for the main weapon. Here you mounted the sponson of the Demolisher but I for some reason trimmed the heavy bolter of its sponson and found that that part worked just as well.
