2004-10-11 Imperial Guard Heavy Sentinel
It has finally come time for the gun mount. I have spent a great deal of time trying to figure out how I was going to do this and low-and-behold my 2 year old son showed me the first step. He took some of the blue sprue I have used before and pushed it into one on of the wells of the small tank wheels. That will probable be the last time I ask him to keep his hands off my models, yea right.
I had to use my saw and knife to cut a rut in the wheel so it would fit over the front cover this would not have been a problem had I set that lower.
I also filed off some of the back side at an angle so the wheel slid up into the groove between the front cover and the body of the sentinel.
The good news is that with this setup and the re-drilling of the mounting hole of the Dread weapons I can now mount various weapons. As can be seen I have also pulled out the green stuff and filled some of the holes in the model.
